1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Al-Quran App ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Al-Quran mobile application (the "App").

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. License to Use

2.1 Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal mobile device solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

2.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices
• Use the App for any commercial purposes without our written permission
• Distribute, rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the App to third parties
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

3. Content and Intellectual Property

3.1 Quranic Text

The Arabic text of the Holy Quran is the divine word of Allah (SWT) and is not subject to copyright. The Quranic text in the App is provided in its authentic form for the benefit of all Muslims.

3.2 Translations and Tafsir

The translations and interpretations (Tafsir) available in the App are the intellectual property of their respective authors and translators. We have obtained appropriate permissions or used works that are in the public domain or available under open licenses.

3.3 Audio Recitations

The audio recitations available in the App are provided by renowned Qaris. We have obtained necessary permissions or use recitations that are freely available for non-commercial distribution.

3.4 App Design and Features

The design, layout, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to the user interface, graphics, and software, are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App with respect and reverence for the Holy Quran
• Maintain the sanctity and dignity of the Quranic text
• Not use the App in inappropriate settings or situations
• Perform ablution (Wudu) when appropriate, as per Islamic teachings
• Handle your device with care and respect when reading the Quran
• Not share or distribute content from the App in ways that disrespect the Quran

5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Your Notes and Bookmarks

The App allows you to create personal notes and bookmarks. You retain all rights to your personal notes. These notes are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us or any third party.

5.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of your notes and must ensure they are respectful and appropriate.

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

7. App Updates and Modifications

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content

While we strive for accuracy in all Quranic content, translations, and recitations, we recommend consulting qualified Islamic scholars for religious guidance and verification.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (which is zero for the free version)
• We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device malfunction, loss, or damage
• We are not liable for interpretation or application of religious teachings

10. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services for additional Islamic resources. We are not responsible for:

• The content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites
• Any damage or loss caused by third-party services
• The privacy practices of external websites

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

11. Device Compatibility

The App is designed for mobile devices running supported versions of Android and iOS. We do not guarantee compatibility with all devices or operating system versions. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the minimum requirements.

12. Internet Connection

While much of the App's functionality is available offline, an internet connection is required for:

• Initial download of Quranic content
• Downloading audio recitations
• Receiving app updates

Standard data charges may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. All locally stored data will be deleted upon uninstallation.

13.2 By Us

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App if you violate these Terms, though given the App's privacy-focused nature and lack of user accounts, enforcement is primarily through app store policies.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Al-Quran App, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you through the App if changes are material
• Post the updated Terms on our website

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in your region.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

20. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.

21. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

Important Notice: The App is designed as a tool for reading and learning the Quran. It is not a substitute for:
